We’ve recently received a call from a tenant that arrived at her home and noticed a leak had occurred from her fridge. By the time she arrived the water had already spread and caused a flood throughout her kitchen floor. In the process her tile, walls, and some of her materials were damaged. Instead of waiting for the next day to begin resolving the issue,  she wished to call for assistance right away so that she can mitigate the situation. 

When it’s late in the day it's difficult to find aid as many companies are already occupied or closed for the day. When a water damage emergency occurs it can become stressful knowing there is not much to do but wait. However, she reached out to SERVPRO of Irwindale/Baldwin Park and we were on the site within 2 hours. Because of our swift reaction, we were able to begin the mitigation process that very same day. Further damage was prevented because we began drying out the affected areas upon our arrival. This was pivotal because not tending to an indoor water flood for even a day extra can be detrimental. The tenant did not have to wait extra days to set up appointments or find out what the steps in the restoration process were. Since we arrived the same day, we were able to finish the job earlier than expected. Thus, resulting in the tenant being able to get back to her regular lifestyle quicker.
